Delete your JOJOcell account

Account Deletion Request

If you would like to permanently delete your JOJOcell account and associated data, please email us at support@jojocell.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Data Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your account: JOJOcell ID and login credentials
• Profile information: Display name, profile picture, and status
• Messages stored on our server: All messages and conversations
• Uploaded media: Files, images, and documents you've shared
• Call history: Records of voice and video calls

Data Kept

Please note that copies of messages already delivered to other users remain in their accounts. This is how JOJOcell works - once a message is delivered, it becomes part of the recipient's account data.

Data Retention

Limited security and abuse logs may be retained for up to 30 days before being permanently removed. This is necessary for:

• Security monitoring and fraud prevention
• Compliance with legal requirements
• Investigation of potential abuse or violations

Processing Time

We will process your account deletion request within 7 days of receiving your email. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted.

Important Considerations

Before You Delete

Please consider the following before requesting account deletion:

• Data Backup: Download any important messages or files before deletion
• Alternative Access: Ensure you have alternative ways to contact important contacts
• Irreversible Action: Account deletion cannot be undone
• Shared Content: Content you've shared with others will remain in their accounts

After Deletion

Once your account is deleted:

• You will lose access to all your data and conversations
• Your username will become available for new users
• You can create a new account with the same email address
• Previous contacts will no longer see you in their contact lists
